Tomatoes: Fruit or Vegetable?

From childhood we often hear questions, tomatoes are fruits or vegetables? Or maybe we ourselves often ask about it and have not received a satisfactory answer. This also applies to paprika, for example, many people also ask whether peppers are fruits or vegetables?
Actually the answer is easy! If you follow botany, anatomically it is clear that tomatoes (and also peppers for example) are fruit! However, if you see it from the culinary side then it could be tomatoes are vegetables. How come? In culinary, vegetables and fruits are distinguished. Vegetables show all parts of the growths that are USUALLY cooked and become part of a dish (or soup) including fruit. While the fruit is a fruit that is usually eaten immediately without the need to be cooked or processed first.
So actually the term vegetable only exists in the culinary field. Whereas in botany, plant parts are classified as: fruit, roots. stems, seeds, leaves, and so on. Whereas in culinary it is only divided into vegetables and fruits. Now, it is clear for those of you who often see from the culinary side that you will be confused about classifying tomatoes because tomatoes are not only cooked but are often eaten just like that (let alone round tomatoes that look very similar to the geometric shapes of fruits even though there are actually many fruits that are not round) many are confused whether tomatoes are vegetables or fruit. But if you look at botany it is clear that tomatoes are 100% fruit! But make no mistake, if you consider tomatoes to be vegetables because you see them from the culinary side, of course it's fine.
